The official opening of Cramlington West Children's Centre in Northumberland was attended by Father Christmas as well as Barnado's chief executive Martin Narey. The centre has been created in partnership between Barnado's North East, Northumberland County Council and ABC Sure Start. Next month sees the opening of a children's centre in Wellington, Somerset offering a creche, family support and health services such as weaning clinics, and links to JobCentre Plus and Adult Learning and Leisure.
