Christopher Quinn, aged four, from Cambusnethan Nursery Centre in North Lanarkshire feels the beat with musician Daniel Duggan from Infectious Grooves at a workshop on West African drumming. Head of centre Ruth Eglinton said, 'The children look forward to the sessions so much, and have a fantastic time. They know all the names of the different drums now.' The nursery had funding from the local authority to hold nine workshops, including one with parents, and now plans to buy the djembe and doum doum drums. so the children can continue their music.
