The National Children's Bureau is calling on the Government to develop a plan of action on children's play following the revelation that an additional £675m of lottery funding will be required to pay for the 2012 Olympics, including £425m from the Big Lottery Fund. Play England, an NCB project that received a £15m grant from the Big Lottery Fund, is concerned that further investment is threatened by the rising cost of the Games.
