Councils show how to beat child poverty

A report showing how London boroughs are working to eradicate child poverty has been published by London Councils. Tackling Child Poverty in London: A guide to borough initiatives and good practice profiles a range of initiatives, including how boroughs are helping parents to find good quality, affordable childcare and, in some cases, offering subsidised childcare while parents receive training and re-enter the workplace.
