New support centre gets the go-ahead

The National Day Nurseries Association has secured funding for the building of a new National Early Years Enterprise Centre in Huddersfield which should be up and running next year. Chief executive Purnima Tanuku, speaking at last week's NDNA conference, said that contracts for the building had just been signed. It is backed by £1.75m from Yorkshire Forward and £300,000 from Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council.
