(Photograph) - Comedian Shazia Mirza helped councillor Quintin Peppiatt, chair of Newham Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership, to launch a childcare jobs and training fair in East Ham, London. Prior to her showbiz career, Shazia was a teacher at Langdon School in East Ham, and also ran after-school clubs. 'Childcare is very rewarding - I always get lovely presents at Christmas,' she joked. The event was aimed at students, those returning to work and job-changers.
