Nursery managers are responsible for all matters relating to the day-to-day running of a day nursery. Their duties include ensuring its daily management is in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation, as well as the safety, security and well-being of all the children registered with the nursery. They are also responsible for the recruitment, management, training and discipline of all staff, as well as overseeing the setting each day. Here are some courses covering nursery management issues.
