A call to standardise school holidays across Scotland

A call to standardise school holidays across Scotland will be discussed by ministers and local authorities, after it was agreed by Holyrood's Public Petitions Committee on 29 June. The petition urging the Scottish Executive and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities to review school holidays was proposed by John MacLeod, a father of two school-age children from Edinburgh.
