Despite last week's EPPE study demonstrating the positive effects of pre-school education, the Daily Mail still managed to blame nurseries for children's poor behaviour. The paper reported that 18-month-old Brad Killgallon has been expelled from Apple Pips nursery in Doncaster for biting his playmates. His angry mother said it was the nursery's fault because it 'taught him how to bite people', and she has lodged an official complaint with Ofsted.
