From memory

By Denni Morrison, advanced teaching and learning practitioner at Hertford Regional College, Nursery World, 3 March 2005

You will be expected to learn and remember a whole host of new vocabulary and spellings, authors and book titles, theorists and their theories and much else besides. How are you going to do this? The memory works much like other information storage systems. The more organised you are about filing something, the easier it will be to find it when you need it. There are many ways of remembering things, some seemingly bizarre, but you should try them to see which work best for you.
