Heads voice views on extension

Research into the attitudes of schools towards the Government's extended schools initiative has found that a significant number of headteachers are committed to the concept, but many have key areas of concern. The survey, carried out by 4Children and supported by the DfES, is the first to gauge current support for the extended schools programme among schools.
