Getting involved in staff's personal problems may seem daunting, but handled well it can result in a stable, happy team, says Julie Addyman Nippers Nursery in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, opened in 1994. Its recent glowing Ofsted report highlighted how the management and staff 'work very well as a team'.
