Westminster Children's Society has received a Pounds 250,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund to help develop the South Westminster Children's Centre in London. The centre is scheduled to open next spring and will incorporate full daycare for over 60 children, a family drop-in centre, health and community outreach services, training facilities and a toy library. Westminster Children's Society works with Sure Start to identify and reach the most needy residents in the local area and offer affordable, high-quality childcare and education to the community.
