Footballer kicks new life into playground

A London adventure playground has benefited from a £150,000 makeover, thanks to the hard work of former football star Ian Wright and his friends. The transformation of Hayward Adventure Playground in the London borough of Islington, run by disabled children's charity Kids, will feature in the television programme 'With a little help from my friends' on Saturday 2 July (ITV1, 6.30pm). The TVnetwork paid for the makeover.
