Could you write a picture book? Aspiring authors have until 1 September to enter the Search for a Story New Author competition and stand the chance of winning a £2,000 cash prize and a publication contract. Run by Little Tiger Press, the award aims to encourage fresh talent in children's picture books. This year's competition coincides with the publication of I'm Special, I'm Me!, by last year's winner, primary school learning support assistant Ann Meek.
