The fathers of under-threes are now responsible for about a third of all childcare (32 per cent) and spend an average of 129 minutes a day with their children, according to a survey commissioned by Baby Einstein - a company that promotes 'discovery through play' in under-threes. Parents also spend four times longer with their children nowadays than their 1970s counterparts did.
