The Scotsman reported that children who eat more than three portions of fish a week doubled their risk of a stroke, while The Times claimed pre-school children who eat too many chips could increase their risk of breast cancer. Babies can detect complex rhythmic patterns in Balkan folk dance tunes at just six months, said The Guardian, but their innate musical ability is lost by 12 months after exposure to sounds such as Britney Spears and the Crazy Frog.
