The Care Commission in Scotland

The Care Commission in Scotland has been approached by the government of Malta to provide advice on the island country's childcare services. The Care Commission will host a series of visits from members of the Maltese Department of Family Welfare later this year to demonstrate how their officers monitor services and build relationships with service providers. The exchange is the Commission's first formal link with a regulator outside the UK and will enable it to test out new ways of working.
