Awards for norlanders

Special awards highlighted the presentation of diplomas to Norland College graduates on 12 March. Jenni Bown and Natasha Dorrington were presented with the Isabel Sharman Award, in memory of the first principal of the college, by the guest speaker Franciska Bayliss, chairman of the National Froebel Foundation and the International Froebel Society (left). This year a new award was introduced in memory of Sandra Soar, a Norland NNEB and nanny who died in a car accident last summer, age 27.
