The winner of the Community Playthings Multi-tables competition held at the South West Regional Exhibition and Conference in Torquay in January is Victoria King, deputy head of the Rees Pre-school in Plymouth. Ken Livingstone, the mayor of London, said he had 'put his weight' behind the scheme 'because it will offer a range of educational, health, sporting and social benefits for young people living in some of the most deprived parts of London'. .
