Nannies can join childminding body

The National Childminding Association is extending its membership to include nannies with the launch next month of a specially designed service. From September, nannies and childminders who care for children aged over seven will be able to join a scheme being developed in response to the Government's plans to introduce a new 'light touch' voluntary accreditation from April next year, whereby parents employing nannies can claim help with childcare costs through tax credits.
