A chance for nursery rhyme immortality is being offered by the Nickelodeon pre-school TV channel, Nick Jr. TV presenter Lorraine Kelly helped launch its competition for nursery nurses, parents and others to try their hand at writing a new nursery rhyme for future generations to come. The first prize is a home entertainment system worth up to £1,000 and the top three entries will get their rhymes turned into an animation to be shown on Nick Jr. For details see www.nickjr.co.uk/newrhyme.
