After reading 'On the rise' (20 October), I felt I should write about how the minimum wage affects me as a nursery owner. First, I live on the Isle of Man, where things are a bit different. Our minimum wage is £5.25. This is for anyone over the age of 18. If you are aged 17 to 18 or are a development worker it is £4.90, and if you are under 17 it's Pounds 4.20.
