The narrator of 'Trumpton' and 'Camberwick Green' is the best-loved voice from British children's television, according to a poll in new BBC magazine Underground Ernie.Brian Cant, now 73, beat 'Bagpuss' and 'Ivor the Engine' narrator Oliver Postgate to second place. Mr Cant also presented 'Playschool' and appeared as an actor in Doctor Who and Casualty.
