National School Grounds Week, organised by Learning Through Landscapes, will take place from 11-15 June with the theme 'Small steps to a sustainable future'. The week is part of the Department for Education and Skills' Sustainable Schools Year of Action. Children will be encouraged to take part in a range of activities focusing on issues such as conserving water, growing organically and recycling waste.
