Scottish children continue to have the worst dental health in the UK, according to research reported by the BBC that found almost half of all five-year-olds had decayed, filled, or missing teeth. The BBC also said former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has signed a six-book deal with Macmillan to write children's books starring a nine-year old heroine, Ugenia Lavender, and familiar-sounding characters including Princess Posh Vatoria and Uncle Gordon (inspired by Ramsey, not Brown).
