The professional needs of nannies are finally being noted by the Children's Workforce Development Council, the Government-funded body for promoting skills development in other forms of childcare. A Pounds 30,000 grant from the CWDC funded training for nannies for the first time when 250 nannies across England attended a series of weekend training courses in paediatric first aid, organised by Tinies Training, between last October and February.
