Junk food advertisements aimed at children

A consortium of children's groups and health and consumer campaigners is urging the Government to further curb junk food advertisements aimed at children. The National Children's Bureau has joined Diabetes UK, the British Heart Foundation, the National Union of Teachers and others in writing to highlight 'inconsistencies' between the rules for broadcast adverts and those in print, the internet and other media.
