Protocol Education, a provider of recruitment services to the education sector, has been named Best Temporary Recruitment Firm at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence. The company ran an impromptu taxi service for teachers needed at short notice at schools in rural areas. Protocol Cambridge branch manager Tracy Cunningham said, 'When schools call in for daily cover our consultants need to find an available candidate who matches the job specification. Getting the right people to the right schools at the right time was a challenge. We acted as chauffeurs delivering our teachers to their day's work.'
