Staff morale key to success outdoors

Outdoor play for children in the Foundation Stage can be severely limited by staff members' lack of confidence about their skills and their nursery's outdoor environment, according to a study commissioned by Learning Through Landscapes (LTL). Heading Out observed outdoor specialists working directly with two nurseries to find solutions to their limited outdoor provision.
