Course supports supervision

20 February 2012, 12:00am

Pen Green Training has added a May training date to its Supervision and Support programme, which is running at the end of this month.

Supervision is increasingly being recognised as a vital area for professional development under the revised EYFS, and Pen Green's course is designed to equip supervisors with greater authority and authenticity in their role.

The course will help practitioners to encourage positive co-operation between management, leaders, staff, students and volunteers and ensure organisational and staff accountability. Participants will come away with a picture of what supervision means in practice and how it promotes reflective, creative and ethical practice.
