Stories about maths

20 January 2012, 4:28pm

Beam has plenty of creative starting points when it comes to helping young children enjoy and understand maths.

Its one day interactive course, Maths in Stories - Through the Foundation Stage to KS1, is led by Elaine Bennett, an early years consultant and author of Storybook Maths. The course demonstrates how to use stories to support all learners and inspires participants to develop maths in fun and story-based contexts.

The next course takes place on 8 March at the Hilton hotel, London.
