First Montessori degree on offer

Montessori Centre International has launched a Montessori foundation degree in partnership with the London Metropolitan University.
The degree is designed to develop high levels of professional competence in students wishing to become Montessori teachers and aspiring to achieve a full BA degree in Early Childhood Studies.
In addition to following early childhood fields of study, candidates focus on Montessori pedagogy and philosophy, relating this to children's learning from birth to five years and from three to seven years. All students spend three days a week in college and two days in a Montessori setting.
Course intakes are in February and September.
