The challenge, which takes place in February and March next year, when it marks its 10th anniversary, aims to develop the communication skills of children from birth to five years, while raising funds for the children's communication charity.

The Chatterbox Challenge, sponsored by Openreach, is supported by the cast of 'The Gruffalo' stage show and will form part of the Hello Campaign during the 2011 National Year of Communication.

Participants can also join in with I CAN's attempt at the Guinness World Record for the largest rendition of 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', which is being held in multiple venues across the UK on 1 March.
