Nursery activities: Art and craft - Sew easy

Young children with tiny fingers often find sewing a difficult task and this can discourage them from trying this satisfying activity. But you can present resources that are manageable, and challenging at different levels, so that children can see results immediately.

Encourage children to explore a range of options to find the most manageable material for them to work with.
