Fed up with all of the changes and the government wanting graduates in nursery settings

My nursery plans are on hold for the time being (didn't get the European Grant :(
But wanted to tell you, I did a BTEC Early Years and then A B.Ed primary teaching degree. The BTEC course perpares you much better than a teaching degree - plus am I right to think that the NNEB is a better course than the BTEC.
I simply did the B.Ed just so people can't turn around and say 'she isn't a real teacher'!

i'm coming at this from another perspective. i am a graduate and am having really bad problems looking for employment. no one wants to pay the increased salaries. now i wish i dumped my a levels and degree and went though the nneb route.
