People who help us any ideas for 2-3 year olds.

the 2-3 year olds in my nursery are currently doing this topic, room senior has arranged for the local fire brigade to come in, in fact they came today, children loved it. They just sat in the back of the engine, then in the front, tried the helmets on, put the lights on. It helped immensely that the fireman where very friendly and talkative (and also very nice!!). We've also had a minister in (one of the dad's) he brought his guitar, sang some songs and spoke to the children, they loved that too, we've also got visits planned by the lollipop lady and a PCSO. We've also asked one of the mum's to come in to talk about how mummy's help us!

How about contacting local post office and taking the kids to see how their letters are sorted and delivered, they do small groups and take them round, pop into your local sorting office
