Does anyone know how much money you would get if u complete the NVQ4?

Would be grateful if you could get back to me.

Think it depends on your employer, sometimes nothing! If your doing it just for the money then your possibly in the wrong job?!

Not doing it just for the money, was just wondering. I cant really be in it for the money as childcare isnt much money anyway as i knew when i went to college.

if you stay in a day nursery , then prob nothing, I have my degree and Ive found you can earn more money, working in the community, as outreach worker, or community Nursery nurse

i have recently been promoted to manager, but was told it was part of the condition of my job that i did my level four, and so any extra money would have been included in that.

I am finding it really really hard though, what with working full time and having two children under 4 !!  Luckily i have a good deputy manager to supprt me !!

I completed my Level 4 in 2006.  My setting received funding for part of the course but I still ended up paying roughly £300 myself (I know some settings may cover the cost).  The course was roughly a thousand per person.
