The expectation for day care registrations is that they are completed within 25 weeks and 12 weeks for childminders. This is from the date that the application is recieved. The hold up is generally always because of outstanding checks - either premises or individual checks (CRB etc).

I'm having the same promblem all checks have been done got my CRB back no problems.
Even got a letter and a form to fill in for the the C.I.S for parents to get intouch, if they need a minder. In the letter is congratulates me, saying we have been informed by ofsted that you are a registered childminder. But no certificate, its been about 8 weeks and i have six parents waiting. Hope it comes soon :)
