Hi there people,
I work as an Early Years Consultant ... I am currently working with a group of nurseries who are branching out into having a couple of area manager roles for there settings... I am curious to know what type salary scale these positions attract? (i.e. from this much £ to this much £) I will be greatful for any feedback on this matter
also what level of holidays etc? are there any area managers or regional managers actively taken part on this forum then please contact me.
take care and I look forward to your postings :-)

Hi Micheal,
I work in the north of the country as a buisness consultant to the childcare industry. I have also managed and area managed in a previous life. I would suggest that depending on where you are located that a starting salary of between 25 and 30,000 a year is acceptable - with the same benefits and holidays as other members of staff. you could also attach occupancy or simular bonus's. If you could let me know where you are based i would be able to draw some comparisons with other providers in your area - or i may know of some good candidates for you. you can contact me at elaine@parenta.com
