Hiya! Can anyone give me inspiration on the topic of growth? i work with 12 - 18 month olds and im stuck for activities to do with them!

Hi! Buy some caterpillars and watch them grow into butterflies. Children of all ages love them! Theres a magazine you can get them from. Cant remember its name will look when i go back to work tomorrow!

Use an empty sand or water trolley and put compost in with water and gardening tools and let the children play - add some plastic flowers and plant pots. After a few days add some dry beans and keep watering, they start to grow quickly (just white kidney beans or something similar) and the children can look at the roots and watch as they grow (just let them dig them up and explore). Also put some in separate plant pots that the children can't touch and watch them grow properly. Hope that makes sense!!
