Ofsted registration hurry up!

Hi, does anyone have any idea how long it takes for the actual certificate to come through!!!???
It has been 6 weeks now, and its really holding us up!!! Help!!!!

Hate to say this but ours took FOREVER!!! It finally arrived on the Saturday and we were due to open on the Monday! I think it took about eight weeks from the registration inspector coming out to us to when it arrived. And that was with me hassling them every single day.

Oh my goodness, well thanks for that, I dread to think what the postman thinks of me, as I literally pounce on him when he enters the street!
Do you get any other documents/information with the certificate?

The expectation for day care registrations is that they are completed within 25 weeks and 12 weeks for childminders. This is from the date that the application is recieved. The hold up is generally always because of outstanding checks - either premises or individual checks (CRB etc).

I'm having the same promblem all checks have been done got my CRB back no problems.

Even got a letter and a form to fill in for the the C.I.S for parents to get intouch, if they need a minder. In the letter is congratulates me, saying we have been informed by ofsted that you are a registered childminder. But no certificate, its been about 8 weeks and i have six parents waiting. Hope it comes soon :)
