Hi,
yes that is fine - to be an early years practitioner or nursery nurse in a school nursery or infant class you need a level 3 early years qualificiation - NNEB, NVQ 3 or BTEC diploma. You may be required to do some short training courses as professional development, eg on the new EYFS.
