Hi,
There is no written test, its just a "normal" verbal interview.
They tend to ask questions about child development, child protection, equal opps, how you would handle certain situations, ie home visiting etc.
Also how you can build on the role and what you feel you could bring to the job.
Good luck, if you get through you will love it!!

No problem, they tend to ask how you would deal with a child protection issue if you felt a child was in danger etc, how you would look out for signs....
With child development I got asked what would you expect a 2 year old to be able to do.... things along them lines.
good luck hope it goes well..... its the best job I've ever had!!

Hi all,
Sam
have you looked on the nhs website? I also live in essex and work as CNN very often jobs will be advertised on the Nhs website, so its worth taking a look... or look at your local PCT (Primary care trust) website, im not sure which area you live, but its easy to find out what pct you come under
I hope this helps, any questions please ask!
