Hay, my name is Emma. Im studying childcare at college, and we have been looking at creative play. Does anyone know where i can find information on the internet about the benifitse of creative play on children? i can't seem to be able to find anything. iv looked in nursery world and Practical Preschool magazines, but there is nothing. Any suggestions??

if you try early years creative play in your internet search you might come up with more - also i used to spend alot of time in my local Borders bookshop when i was doing my HNC - they have study tables and usually had a fair few books that would help in thier "teacher reference" section. (It certainly helped me save some pennies and they were better than my local library)

try typing in creativity instead of creative play.
If you can't find anything online. Tina Bruce has published a book on Cultivating Creatvity, you will probably find info in her other books and maybe in Janet Moyles, Just Playing and Excellence of Play

hiya if you are still having trouble looking for any creative play ideas try going to your local early years department as they will have lots and lots of ideas.
