Theft of company computer!

I wonder if any of you out there have recieved a letter about a company computer being stolen.I have and it sent me into a fit of panic,knowing someone out there has all my details[name,address,date of birth,bank account details,number and sort code and national insurance number]My bank was not aware of this and have said with all this information someone could open up accounts and transfer monies from my account into new ones,set up direct debit from my account.
Anyone out there in this situation keep checking you account!

Yes i have heard, had a phone call from work no letter. The lack of info from the company has been poor. Yes the computers have been atolen but surely there should have security measures on them to stop people hacking in. They hanen't mention how high at he risk is to us on peolple accessing our details.

I am so upset that Leapfrog is still haunting me! I am not happy with the fact that my bank account number and NIN are now available for anybody with not-so-good intentions. Thank you Leapfrog!

I to recieved this letter and have recieved another today asking for some more info for them.
I left the company 2 years ago and didnt realise they could keep my information.
They messed me about and made my life hell when i worked there and now this. I know everyone makes mistakes and things happen that are oput of our control but i just wanted to scream when i opened the letter

I know how you are feeling Steph. When I opened the letter I thought "WHAT do THEY want NOW?

I left Leapfrog more than a year ago. My last months were hell, was unhappy, felt small and nobody seemed to care.

I never received a ref. letter as "managers are not allowed to write ref.letters to ex-employees". Lie number 1, I have seen my manager write nice ref. to their friends . Never received my last P60. My manager said that it was sent to me although somebody from head office comfirmed that "as you went on to another employer you would have earnings from that employment and therefore if we sent you a P60 it would not be correct". That is lie number 2. What a load of rubbish! If you work for more than one employer you have one P60 per employer... well, I can only say that I would like to know the details about the theft (where , when, how ) Anybody knows? I suspect that it was neglicenge. Once I had to fill three times a confidential form because "it got lost in the office". God, I just feel upset now!

Oh my goodness, I must have been asleep !! I didn't know anything about this. I left Leapfrog 2 years ago, but no one has been in touch. How worrying !! Just as well I am in the process of changing all my bank accounts to someone else anyway.

Yes i have and i am not at all surprised. I left leapfrog 6 months ago as the company has turned into a shambles especially whn area managers don't know what the hell they are doing! I have taken advantage of the fact they are willing to pay for me to go on the fraud prevention register. Unfortunaltely they didn't send a pre paid envelope so leapfrog have paid my postage too. Leaving their was the best thing i ever did!

Well guys it could only happen to leapfrog!!!
As far as I am aware they outsourced a company called morepay and it was them who had the laptop stolen, I could be wrong as I was informed briefly over the phone due to being on maternity leave!
Anyway glad those of you that left are happy and doing well!
