Hi there,
I am looking to become a hospital play specialist and was wonderiing if anyone knew how to get onto the Level 4 BTEC Professional Diploma in Specialised Play for Children and Young People. I not sure if you can do it whilst working or not.
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.
Thanks
Donna

Hi Donna
You can undertake this course while working as it is a part time course.
I would suggest that you visit these websites, as they will give you all the information you need on the qualification, and the profession.
Hospital Play Staff Education Trust (HPSET) www.hpset.org.uk
National Association Of Hospital Play Staff (NAHPS) www.nahps.org.uk
There is a hospital play specialist yahoo group, which you maybe interested in joining, so you can post questions to qualified play specialists, which is: http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hospitalplayspecialists/
There is also a hospital play specialist group on Facebook which you could join if you wish to.
Good luck
Harriet
