I think a career in childcare could be very rewarding and you are right to get a good qualification, to get you on your way. It can be very difficult to study and work at the same time, have you thought about an online training course combined with working full or part time in a childcare setting? To qualify with NVQ level 3 either the NVQ children;s Care Learning and development or the Diploma in Pre-school practice would be excellent but you must be working at least part time in a childcare setting.
