Hi
I'm new to the forum but i am on the full time pathway and i am about to hit validation at the end of the month. The one tip i would give you is to get yourself a note book and start to record what they class as 'critical incidents'. Basically record anything that makes you stop and think should i do. they can be both positive or negative. It will make sense in the long run. Even if it is so much as an activity you have planned that takes a different direction to planned etc

I've just started the short pathway and have read throught the 39 steps, oh I mean standards. I'm just starting to think about my tasks and am I going to get all this done before my assessor visits my setting? Probably not, but I have to. Just did my Gateway review which was okay but very scary! Best of luck to any EYPS candidates, we're all in the same boat. If I have any advice, it will be posted!! Any other advice from previous candidates?

hi i had my validation last week just waiting the feedback. it went really well. the only adivse i would give would be to read all your sernios irst and do the harder one's first that way you will not run out of time . interview is really helful, gives you ideas on how to meet the standards
