Hi is there anyone out there that would be interested in setting up a penpal system between nurserys I have posted this before and so far no luck! We are a private day nursery in the midlands and on thinking about it I think it would benefit all ages as we take them from 3 months to 5 years, we also have a before and after school club so if any on else is interested in setting up a penpal system between them they are aged from 5-11 years? I'm not expecting the pre schoolers to write pages or even write anything!, just exchange pictures and photo's etc, thanks for reading hope to get some interest this time! x

I think its a good idea Mia. You can do so much with it.. We did something similar with the nurseries in our area.. We set up an office in the home corner with envelopes, letters, stamps etc. Talked about adressess, door numbers, where we live. Took pictures of our favourite toys. Children began to understand the different purposes of writng. After exchanging a few letters we even arranged a visit to each others nursery which the children which they really enjoyed...
